Lauren Barrett is a multi-media artist and healing arts practitioner based in the New York Hudson Valley. She draws inspiration from everyday wonder and energy practices, seeking to explore the connection to the earthly and divine within and around us in her work. Through dynamic washes of color and organic, fluid forms, the ethereal and dreamlike quality of her work expresses the presence that experiences, moments, or subjects evoke.

Currently, Lauren is developing a body of work in which written intentions become the foundation of each piece. In this ritual process, the language dissolves into abstraction, infusing the work with the charge of the words.
